Terry Buchan is Hawkins Construction’s Central Regional manager, recently taking up the role in 2011. He brings over 25 years of practical construction and project management experience from a wide range of commercial building types.

Terry has recently been involved in delivering a series of large scale commercial developments in Auckland’s Britomart precinct before taking up his new position in Hawkins’ Hamilton office

It is Terry’s skill as a team leader, in communication and building relationships that makes him stand out. He motivates through example, developing a team ethos of a common goal and building trust based on integrity.

His outstanding project track record in the delivery of major, large scale projects is also a reflection of his strong client and stakeholder relationship skills that will be used by Hawkins Construction to continue to develop our business throughout the Waikato, Bay of Plenty and central North Island regions.

Terry has also received significant recognition from his peers, being part of a winning team in the over $75m category at the 2011 NZIOB awards.
