Quin Henderson, Hawkins’ South Island regional manager, is a born-and-bred mainlander and is passionate about growing Hawkins’ business in the South Island.
Quin has a motivated, focused approach to his role in managing all Hawkins’ South Island projects. He has over 25 years in construction, and has been instrumental in ensuring successful delivery of a variety of large projects.
He is passionate about the construction industry and strives to provide tailored solutions to meet the individual needs of our clients. Through his energetic and driven leadership Hawkins has seen our South Island business grow significantly.
This has been achieved through enabling foundation team members to develop into senior leadership positions and introducing both experienced and emerging personnel to our South Island operation.
Quin has extensive national business networks and relationships with financiers, developers, institutions, subcontractors and local councils, and his extensive negotiating and business experience has resulted in Hawkins establishing a wide range of projects under various contract types.
Recently, he has been closely involved with Forsyth Barr Stadium, Christchurch Civic Centre (Te Hononga) Project Crioch (Otago Region Corrections Facility), high-rise apartments and major retail malls. Quin has a NZ Certificate of Engineering and Diploma in Business and Construction Management.
