Central Regional Manager

Peter has been with Hawkins since 2010 and joined the Central team in 2015 having previously been based in Wellington.

As Central Regional Manager, Peter is responsible for all aspects of the Hawkins Building Projects business in the Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Central North Island regions. The region has a wide geographical expanse, serviced by around 90 top-class construction individuals.

Peter’s personable and approachable nature makes him an effective leader with a big focus on relationship building. His style of management creates harmony through the construction process to ensure outcomes are not only achieved but the journey is enjoyed by all involved.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:

  • Working with a diverse range of clients through-out New Zealand, delivering some great projects.
  • Helping to create a delivery focused business within Hawkins and insuring a culture of trust and openness is maintained.
  • Leading the team on the SPCA Project Rehome which saw the charitable organisation moving into, and rescuing, a heritage listed building that had been derelict for over 10 years. This project won numerous awards.
