Hawkins Construction Ltd (Hawkins) has been working hard towards having many companies pre-qualified to support our Canterbury Earthquake Rebuild Project in partnership with IAG NZ Ltd (IAG) as possible.

Since February 22nd it is certain that the expected volume of claims will increase compared to the September quake, and the scale of the damage incurred will be greater for many also. As such, we are reviewing our processes in conjunction with IAG to make them more efficient and streamlined to cope with this. 

We will be making some minor improvements to our procurement processes, and are taking this opportunity to make the changes while we wait for important GNS, EQC and government decisions. Once this information is released, we will be able to begin allocating work to the approved sub-contractors once again.
